Come wander through the enclosed bird aviary which houses many species of parrots, owls, pheasant, cockatiels and a magnificent wedge tailed eagle. Set on 160 acres of virgin terrain, mulga sanctuary boasts the most diverse selection of waterfowl in the region. Phillip lawton, with his father ted, have begun revamping the park and in early 2010 opened the gates to the general public for the first time. Coffee, tea and cold drinks are available at the kiosk.
